This week also marks the start of the new LIV Golf season, beginning in Riyadh with several changes both in personnel and organization. Notably, the tournament extends to 72 holes, spanning four rounds over four days. Sky Sports will broadcast all four days live, with DAZN continuing live coverage as well.
In addition to LIV Golf, Sky Sports is also covering a rarely televised event this week: The R&A organized Africa Amateur Championship, held from February 4 to 7, 2026, at Royal Johannesburg in South Africa. Competitors will play on the renowned East Course, with the winner earning a spot at the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale and the 2026 Amateur Championship.
Magenta TV and the DP World Tour continue with the Qatar Masters in the Middle East, but the biggest event this week is the PGA Tour’s WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale in Arizona, featuring the iconic 16th hole, traditionally the highlight during Super Bowl weekend.
