Majors, Solheim Cup and four major events in the German-speaking region: Here is an overview of the key golf dates in 2026.

The 2026 season offers a wealth of golf events for fans once again. From the prestigious men’s and women’s Majors, the Solheim Cup, to tournaments in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the tournament calendar is packed.

Men’s Majors: Tradition, Prestige and Iconic Venues

The men’s Major season traditionally kicks off from April 9-12 with the legendary Masters. After Rory McIlroy, becoming the sixth player and first European ever to complete a career Grand Slam by winning the Masters in 2025, he will defend his title at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA. Mid-May hosts the PGA Championship from May 4-17 at Aronimink Golf Club in Newton Square, Pennsylvania. The summer starts with the US Open from June 18-21 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York. In 2025, American J.J. Spaun claimed the title on home soil. The men’s Major season closes traditionally with the Open, held July 16-19 at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England. After Scottie Scheffler’s win at the PGA Championships, he secured his second Major title of the year at the Open.

Women’s Majors and the Solheim Cup

The women’s golf calendar also features consecutive highlights in 2026. It starts with the Chevron Championship in Texas from April 23-26.
