Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support for Long Game Players

Srixon expands its iron range for golfers seeking more support in their long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the segment of game-improving irons with its new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models are designed for all players seeking a bit more support and comfort in their shots. Whether golfers want more distance, better control, or simply a better feel at impact, Srixon’s new irons offer fresh options without compromising on design. They round off the series and make it easier to enter the ZXi iron world, combining a particularly soft impact feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of the development is a new material: i-ALLOY. According to Srixon, it is about ten percent softer than the usual 431 stainless steel, which reduces vibrations and results in a softer impact feel. Combined with an improved face technology called the MainFrame pattern, this leads to a smoother feel and higher ball speed. Additionally, the face technology positions the sweet spot exactly where most players need it.

The irons stay true to their look with a cavity-back design and slim topline, featuring typical ZXi series styling but with some adjustments. Wider soles, longer faces, and more offset aim to provide a better feel and increased confidence, especially at address. The HL variant is specially developed for players with slower clubhead speed who focus on higher launch angles, offering extra help for ball launch.

Fitting and Selection – More Than Standard

The ZXi family now consists of seven models, providing appropriate tools for practically every swing profile. As with previous models, Srixon emphasizes variability with the ZXiR irons. Shaft options from KBS, Golf Pride grips, and numerous combinations offer everything club fitters and players need to optimize their setup. The new irons will be available for pre-order through fittings starting December 4, 2025, with the official launch on February 6, 2026. The price for a set of six irons is 1,049 euros for both steel and graphite shaft versions.
