Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Playability for Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement iron segment with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models target golfers looking for added support and comfort in their long game, whether seeking more distance, control, or a better feel at impact. The new irons complete the series and ease entry into the ZXi iron world by combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of the development is a new material called i-ALLOY, reportedly about ten percent softer than standard 431 stainless steel, resulting in reduced vibrations and a softer feel at impact. Combined with an updated face technology called the MainFrame pattern, this delivers a smoother feel and higher ball speeds. The sweet spot is precisely positioned where most players need it.

Visually, the irons maintain the ZXi series signature with a cavity-back design and slim topline, but with some refinements. Wider soles, longer faces, and more offset enhance confidence and feel during address. The HL variant is aimed at players with slower swing speeds, promoting higher launch angles and helping with ball flight.

Fitting and Selection – Beyond Standard

The ZXi family now includes seven models, ensuring a suitable iron for nearly every swing profile. Like previous models, the ZXiR irons emphasize versatility with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and numerous customization possibilities. These irons will be available for preorder fitting sessions starting December 4, 2025, with the official launch on February 6, 2026. The price for a set of six irons is 1,049 euros, available in both steel and graphite shafts.
