Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support in Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in the long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement iron segment with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models are designed for golfers who want more support and comfort in their long game—whether that’s more distance, better control, or simply an improved feel. The new variants round out the series and ease the entry into the world of ZXi irons, combining a particularly soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the heart of the development is a new material called i-ALLOY. According to Srixon, it is about ten percent softer than the usual 431 steel, resulting in less vibration and a softer strike feel. Combined with the revised face technology, known as the MainFrame pattern, this creates a smoother feel with increased ball speed. The sweet spot is precisely positioned where most golfers need it.

The irons keep their signature look with a cavity-back design and slim topline but feature wider soles, longer faces, and more offset, providing confidence especially at address. The HL variant is aimed at players with slower swing speeds who benefit from higher launch angles and more help with ball flight.

Fitting and Selection – Beyond the Standard

The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering options for virtually every swing profile. Like previous models, the ZXiR irons emphasize versatility, with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and numerous customization possibilities, providing what club fitters and players need to optimize their setup. The new irons will be available for pre-order during fittings from December 4, 2025, with an official launch on February 6, 2026. The price for a set of six irons is €1,049, available in both steel and graphite shaft versions.
