Fujikura starts 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
With the VENTUS TR Blue, Fujikura introduces a new model built on a well-known foundation. The new version maintains the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but adds an internal update: VeloCore+. This technology is designed to bring more stability and consistency to the game, according to Fujikura.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, the company’s 3D motion capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data obtained flowed directly into the design of the new model, which Fujikura says is optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel, New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is targeted at players seeking a consistent ball flight during active swing behavior. The new material combination – VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon – aims to provide more stability in the shaft under high loads. Fujikura states the balance between feel and control remains intact. The company positions the new TR Blue between the VENTUS Blue and the VENTUS Black shafts. Product manager TJ Spidle noted internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for the majority of players tested. This model fills a gap in their portfolio and is designed for those looking for a stable but not overly stiff shaft profile.
Options for Different Player Types
The shaft will be available in multiple weight classes from 50 to 90 grams with flex variants ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. The VENTUS TR Blue will be available from January 9, 2026, through authorized retailers and select custom-fit programs.
