With the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft and fresh VeloCore+ technology, Fujikura ushers in 2026 with innovation.
Fujikura launches the VENTUS TR Blue, building on a proven foundation. This new model retains the trusted mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but introduces an internal update: VeloCore+ technology, designed to deliver greater stability and consistency according to Fujikura.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using Fujikura’s enso® system, a 3D motion-capture technology that analyzes shaft movement in detail. The data collected directly influenced the design of the new model, which Fujikura states has been optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel, New Enhancements
The VENTUS TR Blue is targeted at players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination of VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon aims to provide increased stability along the shaft under high stress. Fujikura maintains a balance between feel and control. The TR Blue is positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black models. According to product manager TJ Spidle, internal testing showed increased clubhead speed for most participants, filling a gap in the product range for those wanting a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Various Players
The shaft is available in weights ranging from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options from Regular to Extra Stiff. It will be available from January 9, 2026, through authorized retailers and selected custom-fit programs.
