The Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour kicks off for the second time in 2026. The opening flight features Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach teeing off together at 7:05 am. Marcel Schneider also starts at the same time on the back nine and is one of several German players competing in the event. Rory McIlroy begins his round alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.

The first German to tee off is Marcel Schneider at 7:05 am local time, playing with Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang starting on the back nine. Their second round begins at 11:25 am.
At the same time, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach, along with Ricardo Gouveia, start their round on the first nine holes. Their second round also begins at 11:25 am.
Freddy Schott tees off at 8:25 am with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, with the second round starting at 12:45 pm the following day.
Jeremy Paul plays at 8:45 am with Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, commencing his second round at 1:05 pm on Friday.
