The Hero Dubai Desert Classic marks the DP World Tour’s second event in 2026. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will start together in a flight at 7:05 AM local time. Marcel Schneider, one of several German players, will begin simultaneously on the back nine. Rory McIlroy will start with Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.
Wiesberger, Girrbach, and Schneider Start; Steinlechner Closes Day
Marcel Schneider is the first German to tee off at 7:05 AM local time alongside Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang on the back nine. They will start their second round at 11:25 AM.
Simultaneously, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will start on the front nine with Ricardo Gouveia, with their second round also commencing at 11:25 AM.
Freddy Schott tees off at 8:25 AM with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, starting his second round the next day at 12:45 PM.
Jeremy Paul begins at 8:45 AM alongside Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, with their Friday round starting at 1:05 PM.
Nicolai Von Dellingshausen will start with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan at 11:35 AM; their second round begins at 7:15 AM.
After finishing T14 at the Dubai Invitational, Marcel Siem will begin at 12:05 PM with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson; their following round starts at 7:45 AM.
The day’s final group includes Maximilian Steinlechner from Austria, who starts at 12:55 PM with Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner; their second round kicks off at 8:35 AM.
