DP World Tour: Wiesberger leads start at Hero Dubai Desert Classic

The DP World Tour has announced tee times for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Bernd Wiesberger and Joel Girrbach will start the tournament together. Several Germans participate.

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic marks the second DP World Tour event of 2026. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will tee off together at 7:05 AM. Marcel Schneider will start simultaneously on the back nine and is among several German players participating. Rory McIlroy will begin alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.

Wiesberger, Girrbach, and Schneider start; Steinlechner closes day

Marcel Schneider, the first German, tees off at 7:05 AM local time with Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang on the back nine. Their second round starts at 11:25 AM. Concurrently, Bernd Wiesberger, Joel Girrbach, and Ricardo Gouveia begin on the front nine, also starting their second round at 11:25 AM.

Freddy Schott starts at 8:25 AM with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, followed by a 12:45 PM start on the next day. Jeremy Paul plays from 8:45 AM with Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, beginning their Friday round at 1:05 PM. Nicolai Von Dellingshausen will tee off at 11:35 AM with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan, with a 7:15 AM start for the second round.

Following a T14 finish at the Dubai Invitational, Marcel Siem begins his tournament at 12:05 PM with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson; their subsequent round starts at 7:45 AM. The day’s final group includes Austrian Maximilian Steinlechner, who starts at 12:55 PM with Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner, with their second round commencing at 8:35 AM.

Rory McIlroy teams with Fleetwood and Hatton

The tournament’s highlight flight features Rory McIlroy alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton, teeing off at 8:05 AM. Their second round will begin at 12:25 PM local time.
