The Hero Dubai Desert Classic will mark the second time the DP World Tour kicks off in 2026. The first tee time features Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach starting together at 7:05 a.m. Marcel Schneider will start simultaneously on the back nine and is among several German players in the field. Rory McIlroy begins alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.
Wiesberger, Girrbach, and Schneider start; Steinlechner closes day
Marcel Schneider, the first German, tees off at 7:05 a.m. local time on the back nine with Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang. Their second round will start at 11:25 a.m.
Simultaneously, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will tee off with Ricardo Gouveia on the front nine. Their second round also begins at 11:25 a.m.
At 8:25 a.m., Freddy Schott will start his round with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, beginning his next round the following day at 12:45 p.m.
Jeremy Paul will play from 8:45 a.m. alongside Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, with his round on Friday starting at 1:05 p.m.
Nicolai Von Dellingshausen will start at 11:35 a.m. with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan, with his second round scheduled for 7:15 a.m.
After finishing T14 at the Dubai Invitational, Marcel Siem will begin his tournament at 12:05 p.m. with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson. Their following rounds will start at 7:45 a.m.
The first day will conclude with Austrian Maximilian Steinlechner, who tees off at 12:55 p.m. alongside Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner. Their second round starts at 8:35 a.m.
