DP World Tour: Wiesberger Leads Opening Round at Hero Dubai Desert Classic

The DP World Tour announced the tee times for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Bernd Wiesberger and Joel Girrbach will open the tournament together. Several Germans are participating.

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic marks the second DP World Tour event of 2026. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will start together in a group at 7:05 a.m. Marcel Schneider will start at the same time on the back nine and is among several German players competing. Rory McIlroy will begin alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.

Wiesberger, Girrbach, and Schneider Start; Steinlechner Finishes

Marcel Schneider is the first German to tee off at 7:05 a.m. local time, playing with Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang, starting on the back nine. Their second round begins at 11:25 a.m.

Simultaneously, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will tee off with Ricardo Gouveia on the front nine, also restarting their second round at 11:25 a.m.

Freddy Schott begins his round at 8:25 a.m. with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, starting at 12:45 p.m. the next day.

Jeremy Paul will play at 8:45 a.m. with Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, with his next round starting at 1:05 p.m. Friday.

Nicolai Von Dellingshausen starts at 11:35 a.m. with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan, beginning his second round at 7:15 a.m.

After finishing T14 at the Dubai Invitational, Marcel Siem will start his tournament at 12:05 p.m. with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson, with their next round at 7:45 a.m.

Maximilian Steinlechner from Austria will close the first day, teeing off at 12:55 p.m. with Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner; their second round starts at 8:35 a.m.
