DP World Tour: Wiesberger Leads Start at Hero Dubai Desert Classic

The DP World Tour has announced tee times for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Bernd Wiesberger, alongside Joel Girrbach, will lead the tournament start with several Germans competing.

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic will mark the second DP World Tour event of 2026. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will open the tournament together in a group teeing off at 7:05 AM. Marcel Schneider will start simultaneously on the back nine and is among the several German players participating. Rory McIlroy will begin his round alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.

Wiesberger, Girrbach, and Schneider Start; Steinlechner Finishes

Marcel Schneider, the first German to tee off, will start at 7:05 AM local time with Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang on the back nine. Their second round begins at 11:25 AM. At the same time, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger, Swiss Joel Girrbach, and Ricardo Gouveia will start on the front nine, with their second round also at 11:25 AM.

Freddy Schott will begin his round at 8:25 AM alongside Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, starting again the next day at 12:45 PM. Jeremy Paul tees off at 8:45 AM with Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, with a second round starting at 1:05 PM on Friday.

Nicolai Von Dellingshausen will tee off at 11:35 AM together with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan; their second round starts at 7:15 AM. After finishing T14 at the Dubai Invitational, Marcel Siem will start his tournament at 12:05 PM with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson, continuing the following round at 7:45 AM.

Austrian Maximilian Steinlechner will finish the first day, starting at 12:55 PM with Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner. Their second round will begin at 8:35 AM.

Rory McIlroy with Fleetwood and Hatton

The highlight flight features Rory McIlroy teeing off with Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton at 8:05 AM local time. Their second round will start at 12:25 PM, spotlighting the tournament’s megastars.
