DP World Tour: Wiesberger and Girrbach to Open the Hero Dubai Desert Classic

The DP World Tour announced the tee times for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Bernd Wiesberger and Joel Girrbach will tee off the tournament together. Several Germans are participating.

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic marks the second DP World Tour start in 2026. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will start together in a group at 7:05 AM local time. Marcel Schneider will start at the same time on the back nine and is among several Germans competing in the event. Rory McIlroy will begin alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.

Wiesberger, Girrbach, and Schneider Start; Steinlechner Finishes

Marcel Schneider is the first German to tee off at 7:05 AM local time, playing with Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang on the back nine. Their second round begins at 11:25 AM.

Simultaneously, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach start their first nine holes alongside Ricardo Gouveia, with their second round also commencing at 11:25 AM.

Freddy Schott tees off at 8:25 AM with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, with their second round starting at 12:45 PM the following day.

Jeremy Paul starts at 8:45 AM with Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, beginning his round on Friday at 1:05 PM.

Nicolai Von Dellingshausen begins at 11:35 AM with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan. His second round starts at 7:15 AM.

After finishing T14 at the Dubai Invitational, Marcel Siem kicks off at 12:05 PM with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson. Their next round starts at 7:45 AM.

Maximilian Steinlechner from Austria will finish the first day, starting at 12:55 PM alongside Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner. Their second round begins at 8:35 AM.

Rory McIlroy Joins Fleetwood and Hatton

The headline flight of the tournament features Rory McIlroy, who will start at 8:05 AM local time together with Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton. Their second round will begin at 12:25 PM.
