DP World Tour: Wiesberger Leads Opening Tee Times at Hero Dubai Desert Classic

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic marks the DP World Tour’s second start in 2026. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will kick off the event together at 7:05 am local time. Marcel Schneider starts simultaneously on the back nine and is among several German players participating. Rory McIlroy will begin his round with Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.

Wiesberger, Girrbach and Schneider Starting, Steinlechner Finishing

Marcel Schneider is the first German to tee off at 7:05 am local time, playing with Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang on the back nine, beginning their second round at 11:25 am. Simultaneously, Bernd Wiesberger and Joel Girrbach start on the front nine together with Ricardo Gouveia, also beginning their second round at 11:25 am.

At 8:25 am, Freddy Schott starts with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, followed by Jeremy Paul at 8:45 am alongside Renato Paratore and Christian Maas. Paul’s second round begins at 1:05 pm. Nicolai Von Dellingshausen teams with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan at 11:35 am, starting his second round at 7:15 am.

Marcel Siem, after finishing T14 at the Dubai Invitational, begins at 12:05 pm with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson, continuing at 7:45 am the next day. The day concludes with Maximilian Steinlechner from Austria, who tees off at 12:55 pm with Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner, starting the second round at 8:35 am.

The highlight flight features Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Tyrrell Hatton, starting at 8:05 am local time. Their second round will commence at 12:25 pm, drawing attention from golf fans worldwide.
