He starts on Thursday at 07:05 local time from Tee 10, paired with home favorite Adam Scott and crowd-pleaser Min Woo Lee. His second round follows on Friday at 12:05 from Tee 1. This marks McIlroy’s first Australian Open appearance since 2014, when he won by a single stroke.

Germany is represented by two players in Melbourne. Freddy Schott begins his first round on Thursday at 07:45 from Tee 1, alongside Adam Bland and Ben Campbell.
