Q-School Final 2025: Who Will Earn a DP World Tour Card?

In Spain, 156 players compete for just 20 DP World Tour cards. Among them are nine determined German contenders.

From November 7, the Infinitum Golf Resort in Tarragona, Spain, becomes the stage for one of the most intense battles in professional golf. The Final Stage of Q-School will determine who secures a coveted spot on the DP World Tour for the 2026 season. Over six grueling rounds, 156 players will compete on the Lakes and Hills Courses. After four rounds, a cut will reduce the field to the top 65, who will then play two final rounds on the Lakes Course to decide the 20 players who earn full tour cards.

Infinitum is a familiar venue for Q-School, hosting the Final Stage for the seventh time. The Lakes Course has recently been upgraded for improved playability and sustainability, while the Hills Course now features a redesigned back nine, culminating in a dramatic quarry-side finishing hole.

German Contenders Eyeing the DP World Tour

Germany is well represented with nine players in the field. Maximilian Kieffer and Yannik Paul are the most prominent names. Kieffer, a long-time DP World Tour member, failed to retain his card after the 2025 season and now seeks a comeback. Paul, winner of the 2022 Mallorca Open and once a Ryder Cup hopeful, also missed the cut at 121st in the rankings and must now fight his way back.

Nick Bachem, who claimed a tour victory in South Africa, enters the event with a Medical Exemption after an injury-plagued season. Jannik De Bruyn returns to familiar ground, having reached the Final Stage here in 2023. He’s joined by Carl Siemens and Philipp Katich, both products of the GC St. Leon-Rot development program, who advanced through the Second Stage.

Michael Hirmer and Jan Schneider bring multi-tour experience but have yet to secure a lasting spot on the DP World Tour. Rounding out the German contingent is Anton Albers, who competed in the 2025 Grand Final of the HotelPlanner Tour and now aims to take the next big step in his career.
