Kristoffer Reitan claims second DP World Tour win at Nedbank

Kristoffer Reitan wins the Nedbank Golf Challenge as Marcel Siem and Nicolai von Dellingshausen struggle at the bottom.

The Nedbank Golf Challenge, one of the most lucrative events on the DP World Tour outside of the UAE Playoffs, concluded in Sun City, South Africa, at the Gary Player Country Club. Norway’s Kristoffer Reitan, currently ranked 59th in the Official World Golf Ranking, emerged victorious. Reitan opened with a sensational 63 on Thursday, featuring ten birdies and just one bogey. He followed up with rounds of 69 and 67 on Friday and Saturday. Despite a mixed front nine on Sunday with four birdies and three bogeys, Reitan played a nearly flawless back nine, marred only by a bogey on the 15th. His even-par final round was enough to secure the win. This marks Reitan’s second DP World Tour victory after winning the Soudal Open in Belgium earlier in 2025, earning him a ticket to the 2026 Masters.

Englishman Dan Bradbury made a strong push on Sunday with a bogey-free round and six birdies, finishing six-under for the day. However, it wasn’t enough to catch Reitan. Bradbury ended the tournament one shot behind and shared second place with South Africa’s Jayden Schaper, who also finished at 16-under after a final-round 66.

DP World Tour: Reitan’s breakthrough in South Africa

Reitan’s composed performance throughout the week, especially his strong start and steady finish, proved decisive. His win at the Nedbank Golf Challenge not only adds to his growing resume but also positions him as a rising contender on the DP World Tour heading into 2026.

Siem and von Dellingshausen struggle in South Africa

German players Marcel Siem and Nicolai von Dellingshausen both made the cut but failed to make an impact over the weekend. Siem opened with a 75 and had a rough second round, carding just one birdie alongside four bogeys and two double bogeys for a 79. He followed with a 74 on Saturday and a 76 on Sunday, never managing to break par, and finished in 62nd place.

Von Dellingshausen also opened with a 75 and posted back-to-back 78s on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, he recorded four bogeys and one birdie to finish three-over for the day. With no rounds under par, he ended the tournament at 18-over and tied for 63rd, the second-to-last position on the leaderboard.
