Patrick Reed wins in Dubai, with Andy Sullivan finishing second. DACH players like Schneider and von Dellingshausen place mid-field.
American Patrick Reed secured the title at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, known as the Pearl of the Persian Gulf in the United Arab Emirates. Although Reed couldn’t match his previous days’ success on the final day, an even-par round was enough for the San Antonio (Texas) professional to claim victory.
Steady Final Round Secures Victory
On the front nine, Reed was not flawless and recorded a bogey. On the back nine, he balanced the mistake at the 10th hole but missed two attempts to hole out at the 11th, recording another bogey. He recovered the setback with a birdie at the 13th hole. Finishing at 14-under par overall, Reed won decisively ahead of Frenchman Julien Guerrier, Spaniard David Puig, and Englishman Andy Sullivan. This victory moved Reed from 107th to 2nd place in the Race to Dubai rankings.

Despite finishing ten strokes under par, he remained pressured by third-place finishers David Puig and Julien Guerrier until the end.
David Puig closed with a 73 and tied with Julien Guerrier at nine-under par. Guerrier improved his leaderboard position by seven places with a strong 69-round.
