Patrick Reed wins in Dubai, Andy Sullivan finishes second. DACH players Schneider, von Dellingshausen, Girrbach, and Schott place mid-field.
American Patrick Reed claimed the title at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour held at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, the jewel of the Persian Gulf in the United Arab Emirates. Although Reed could not quite replicate the success of previous days on the final day, an even-par round was enough for the pro from San Antonio, Texas, to secure victory.
Mixed final day enough for victory
On the front nine, Reed was not flawless and recorded at least one bogey. On the back nine, he made up for his mistake at the 10th hole but missed two putts on the 11th, resulting in another bogey. He recovered one stroke at the 13th hole. Finishing at 14 under par, Reed won comfortably ahead of Frenchman Julien Guerrier, Spaniard David Puig, and Englishman Andy Sullivan. With this win, Reed jumped from 107th to second place in the Race to Dubai.

DP World Tour: Sullivan fights to second place
Andy Sullivan proved himself in the final meters of the last round, securing sole second place. He started the front nine with four bogeys and one birdie. On the back nine, Sullivan recovered with four birdies, finishing with a 71. He birdied the 18th hole to clinch second place. At ten under par, he remained well behind winner Reed but was pressured by third-place finishers David Puig and Julien Guerrier until the end.
David Puig closed the final round with a 73 and, along with Julien Guerrier, finished at nine under par. Guerrier improved his leaderboard position by seven places with a strong 69 round.
