The third round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour featured four remaining German-speaking players. Marcel Schneider was especially impressive on Moving Day in Dubai. The German posted a nearly flawless round, climbing early up the leaderboard. Three birdies on the front nine laid the foundation for his strong performance. His excellent short game was a key factor. Two more birdies on the back nine were offset by just one bogey at the 17th hole. With a score of -4 for the day, Schneider positions himself in the top 20 heading into the final round, aiming for a top finish.
Patrick Reed Pulls Ahead Before Final Round
At the top of the leaderboard, Patrick Reed extended his lead. After a mixed front nine, the American fired three birdies on the back nine without any mistakes. He carded a -5 for the day and now leads with an overall -14, four strokes clear heading into the final day.
