Marcel Schneider Delivers Near-Flawless Performance on the DP World Tour
The third round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour started with four remaining German-speaking players in the field. Marcel Schneider especially shined in Dubai on the Moving Day. The German golfer played an almost flawless round, climbing early up the leaderboard. Three birdies on the front nine laid the foundation for his strong performance. His excellent short game proved crucial, adding two more birdies against just one bogey on the 17th hole. With a round of -4, Schneider positions himself in the Top 20 ahead of the final day, competing for top placements.
Patrick Reed Pulls Ahead Before Finale
At the top, Patrick Reed was able to separate himself. After a mixed front nine, the American added three birdies on the back nine and played error-free otherwise. He posted a round of -5 and stands at -14 overall, holding a four-shot lead going into the final day.

Direct pursuer is David Puig, who posted a strong -6 on Saturday with just one bogey and seven birdies, standing at -10 after three rounds. Viktor Hovland also impressed with a bogey-free round including seven birdies, climbing to -9 and tied for third place alongside Andy Sullivan heading into the final round.
