Marcel Schneider Delivers Nearly Flawless Performance on DP World Tour

The third round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour started with four remaining German-speaking players in the field. Marcel Schneider stood out on Moving Day in Dubai with an almost flawless round, climbing the leaderboard early. Three birdies in the first nine holes set the foundation for his strong performance. His excellent short game particularly paid off. Two additional birdies were offset by only one bogey on the 17th. With a day score of -4, Schneider positioned himself in the top 20 ahead of the final day and is contending for top placements.

Reed Pulls Ahead Before Final Day

At the top of the leaderboard, Patrick Reed established a lead. After a mixed front nine, the American added three birdies on the back nine while remaining bogey-free. He finished the day with a -5 score and a total of -14, holding a four-shot lead going into the final round.

David Puig is the closest pursuer with a strong -6 on Saturday, featuring just one bogey and seven birdies, sitting at -10 after three rounds. Viktor Hovland also impressed with a bogey-free round featuring seven birdies, reaching -9 and tied for third place with Andy Sullivan heading into the final round.
