On Saturday at the DP World Tour Championship, Matt Fitzpatrick showcased his full potential. At the par-4 fifth hole, the Englishman struck his iron shot from over 120 meters with pinpoint accuracy, landing the ball with a single bounce straight into the hole for an eagle.
Fitzpatrick surges up the leaderboard
With this spectacular shot, Fitzpatrick gained significant momentum for the remainder of the tournament. After completing his front nine, he moved into a tie for fourth place (T4), just two spots behind leader Laurie Canter.
