After an excellent round on Thursday, Freddy Schott aimed to confirm his performance and secure a strong position for the weekend. He started solidly with a birdie on hole 1 after a clean approach shot. Despite a drive that veered right on hole 3, Schott saved par and added his second birdie of the day. By hole 9, he was 3 under on the front nine. On the back nine, birdies on 13 and an eagle on 14, from just under 7 meters after two precise shots, boosted his score.
