Gregor Biernath: ‘Something New and Good is Emerging for Golf’

Gregor Biernath, one of the most recognized golf voices in the German-speaking world, is joining MagentaTV from Sky. He will lead the new expert team, supported by golf experts Florian Zunker, Bernd Ritthammer, and Max Kramer. On his move, Biernath said, ‘The entire team immediately gave me the feeling that something new and good is happening for golf. We can innovate and refresh golf coverage at MagentaTV.’ He also described the new team as a ‘cool editorial crew’ and a ‘really good mix.’

New faces have also been found in the commentator lineup. Michael Born, previously known for handball and football commentary at DAZN, will team up with Herbert Gogel and Stephan Gandel to commentate golf events. Additionally, Holger Speckhahn, known as an ice hockey host for MagentaSport, will also accompany the upcoming live broadcasts.
