Gregor Biernath: “Something New and Good is Emerging for Golf”
Gregor Biernath, one of the most recognized golf voices in the German-speaking region, is leaving Sky to lead the new expert team at MagentaTV. Supported by golf experts Florian Zunker, Bernd Ritthammer, and Max Kramer, Biernath expressed enthusiasm about the move: “The whole team immediately gave me the feeling that something new and good for golf is developing here. We can innovate and shake up golf coverage at MagentaTV.” He also described the team as a “cool editorial team” with a “really good mix.”
In the commentator team, new faces have also been found. Michael Born, known for handball and football commentary at DAZN, will join Herbert Gogel and Stephan Gandel to commentate on golf events. Additionally, Holger Speckhahn, previously known as an ice hockey moderator for MagentaSport, will also support the live broadcasts.
