Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship, Langer duo finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

At the 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, Team Kuchar emerged victorious ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. The family-team event, which marks the season finale of the PGA Champions Tour, was played in a two-round scramble format. Among the notable participants were Bernhard Langer and his son Jason, who finished T7, and fan favorite John Daly with his son John II, who tied for second.

Team Kuchar, consisting of 2016 Ryder Cup winner and multiple Presidents Cup champion Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered a flawless opening round with 15 birdies. On the final day, they added 14 birdies and two eagles to finish at an impressive 33-under-par, securing a clear victory.

Following closely behind were Team Daly and Team Love, both finishing at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son John II impressed with back-to-back rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Championship winner, and his son Dru opened with a 60 and followed up with 14 birdies on Sunday to tie for second.

Nelly Korda Shines in Family Format

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker teamed up with his daughter Izzi, finishing T4 at 25-under-par. They shared the position with Team Korda, featuring two-time major champion and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. The Kordas opened with a 60 and improved to a 59 on Sunday, making Nelly the only LPGA pro in the field.
