Team Kuchar wins 2025 PNC Championship, Langer duo finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded with Team Kuchar claiming victory. The family-team event, played in a scramble format over two rounds, marked the season finale of the PGA Champions Tour. Among the participants were Bernhard Langer and his son Jason, who finished tied for seventh, and fan favorite John Daly with his son John II, who tied for second.

Team Kuchar, consisting of 2016 Ryder Cup winner Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered a dominant performance. They opened with a flawless round featuring 15 birdies on Saturday and followed up with 14 birdies and two eagles on Sunday. Their total of 33-under-par secured a clear win atop the leaderboard.

Trailing behind were Team Daly and Team Love, both finishing at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son impressed with back-to-back rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru opened with a 60 and followed with a bogey-free round of 14 birdies on Sunday.

Nelly Korda shines in family format

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker teamed up with his daughter Izzi, finishing tied for fourth at 25-under-par. They shared the spot with Team Korda, featuring two-time major winner and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. The Kordas posted rounds of 60 and 59 over the weekend, showing strong form throughout the event.

Bernhard Langer finishes T7 at PNC Championship

Defending champion and two-time Masters winner Bernhard Langer, alongside son Jason, missed the podium this year. They opened with a bogey-free 61 (-11) and improved to a 60 (-10) on Sunday, finishing at 23-under-par and tied for seventh place.
