Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship, Langers finish T7

Bernhard Langer and son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded with Team Kuchar taking the title ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. The event, which marks the season finale of the PGA Champions Tour, featured a two-round scramble format and brought together golf legends and their family members. Among the field were Bernhard Langer and his son Jason, who finished T7, and fan favorite John Daly with his son John II, who tied for second.

Team Kuchar dominates the field

Matt Kuchar, a 2016 Ryder Cup winner and multiple Presidents Cup team member, teamed up with his son Cameron for a commanding performance. They opened the tournament with a flawless round of 15 birdies on Saturday. On Sunday, they added 14 birdies and two eagles, finishing at an impressive 33-under-par to secure the win.

Trailing behind were Team Daly and Team Love, both finishing at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son John II posted consistent 59s on both days, each round featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru opened with a 60 and followed up with a bogey-free round of 14 birdies.

Nelly Korda shines in family format

LPGA star and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda was the only active female professional in the field. She played alongside her father Petr, a former tennis pro. Team Korda tied for fourth with Team Stricker, finishing at 25-under-par. After an opening 60, they improved to a 59 on Sunday.

Team Langer finishes T7

Defending champions Bernhard Langer and his son Jason delivered solid rounds of 61 and 60, ending the tournament at 23-under-par. Despite their strong play, the two-time Masters champion and his son missed the podium, settling for a tie for seventh place.
