Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship, Langer duo finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason performed well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded the 2025 PGA Champions Tour season. Played in a two-round scramble format, the family team event saw Team Kuchar emerge victorious ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. Among the participants were Bernhard Langer and his son Jason (T7), as well as fan favorite John Daly and his son John II (T2).

Team Kuchar, consisting of 2016 Ryder Cup winner and multiple Presidents Cup champion Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered a flawless first round with 15 birdies. On the final day, they added 14 birdies and two eagles, finishing with an impressive 33-under-par to claim the title.

Trailing them were Team Daly and Team Love, both finishing at 26-under-par to share second place. John Daly and his son John II impressed with two rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru opened with a 60 and followed up with 14 birdies on Sunday to secure their T2 finish.

Nelly Korda Shines in Fourth Place

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker teamed up with his daughter Izzi, and together they finished T4 at 25-under-par. Sharing that position was Team Korda, featuring two-time major winner and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. They posted rounds of 60 and 59, making Nelly the only LPGA Tour player in the field.

Bernhard Langer Misses Podium Finish

Defending champions Bernhard Langer and his son Jason started strong with a bogey-free 61 (-11) and improved to a 60 (-10) on Sunday. Despite their solid performance, their 23-under-par total only secured a tie for seventh place on the leaderboard.
