Golf meets Bavarian flair in July 2026 with stars like Jäger, Schmid and Kaymer. Get your tickets now with a Christmas discount.

Since 1989, the BMW International Open has stood for world-class golf, driving pleasure, and a touch of Bavarian lifestyle. As the only DP World Tour event in Germany, it returns for its 37th edition from July 1 to 5, 2026, at Golfclub München Eichenried. German stars Stephan Jäger, Matti Schmid, and two-time major winner Martin Kaymer have already confirmed their participation. Tickets are now available in the official ticket shop, with a 10% Christmas discount valid until December 24, 2025.

German Stars Return to Their Roots

Local favorite Stephan Jäger last teed off at his home club in 2021. Now based in the U.S. and a PGA TOUR regular, Jäger missed the 2025 edition due to the birth of his second son. In 2026, he’s ready to return: “I’m really looking forward to playing in Eichenried again and enjoying the BMW International Open. It’s rare and special to have such a tournament in your hometown.”

Martin Kaymer, the only German to win the tournament and its youngest champion at age 23, is also set to play. “The people you work with make all the difference. You can feel the passion from everyone at BMW. It’s always a pleasure to come here,” says the 40-year-old.

BMW International Open 2026: A Must-See Event

Matti Schmid, currently Germany’s top-ranked player, has fond memories of watching the event as a child. Now a PGA TOUR player himself, he was the best German performer in 2025, finishing tied for seventh. “The atmosphere was amazing all week. I hope everyone comes back—it’s great when the place is packed,” he says.

The Christmas discount applies to single-day, multi-day, and Fairway Club tickets. Reduced categories such as youth, students, or disabled persons are excluded. All tickets include a free shuttle service from Ismaning S-Bahn station to the venue (Thursday to Sunday), and free parking is available while supplies last. Entry to the Pro-Am on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, is free. Children up to 14 years old enjoy free admission on all days.
