Bernhard Langer reflects on his memories at the PNC Championship and why playing with his son makes it so special.
Bernhard Langer vividly remembers his first appearance at the PNC Championship. Back then, his son was still in high school—young, ambitious, and suddenly surrounded by golf legends. “We had a blast,” Langer recalls. “He had to compete against pro teams—hitting drives and aiming for the green with an 8-iron, even though he was three over par.” It wasn’t about the score, though. “It was just a great time.” That experience marked the beginning of a cherished tradition. “I loved this tournament from the moment I was invited.”
