Bernhard Langer vividly remembers his first appearance at the PNC Championship. At the time, his son was still in high school—young, ambitious, and right in the mix with the pros. “We had a blast,” Langer recalls. “Back then, he had to compete against professional teams—hitting drives and aiming for the green with an 8-iron, even though he was three over par.” It wasn’t about the score, though. “It was just a great time.” That experience marked the beginning of a cherished tradition for Langer. “I loved this tournament from the moment I was invited.”
