German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback add excitement to the PGA Tour kickoff at Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times.
As the first tee times get underway at the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course seems more scoreable but offers no easy misses. This blend annually creates a high-class field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are participating. For Jäger and Rosenmüller, the North Course offers a chance for an aggressive start, while Schmid on the South Course faces strong international competition right away.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already strong field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 17:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 CET.
