The PGA Tour kicks off this week at the Genesis Invitational in Pacific Palisades, California, hosted by Tiger Woods at the Riviera Country Club. Although Matti Schmid is the only player from the German-speaking region competing, the tournament features a star-studded field battling for crucial points on the Official World Golf Ranking. The total prize purse is $20,000,000. Defending champion Ludvig Åberg and world number one Scottie Scheffler will both compete, alongside top players like Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa, Russell Henley, J.J. The DP World Tour heads to Nairobi, Kenya, for the Magical Kenya Open.
