The PGA Tour kicks off this week at the Genesis Invitational in Pacific Palisades, California, at the Riviera Country Club, hosted by Tiger Woods. Although only Matti Schmid from German-speaking countries will demonstrate his skills, the tournament features a high-caliber field of prominent players competing for important points on the World Ranking. The total prize fund stands at $20,000,000. Besides defending champion Ludvig Åberg, world number one Scottie Scheffler will also participate. Other top players include Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa, Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun, and many more, completing this elite field. MagentaTV will broadcast all four tournament days live.
On the DP World Tour, action moves to Kenya for the Magical Kenya Open in Nairobi. Here, more German-speaking players are on the entry list. The successful Düsseldorf native Freddy Schott this season will be accompanied by Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Bernd Wiesberger, and Maximilian Steinlechner from the DACH region, although the field is traditionally dominated by Kenyan players. MagentaTV will also broadcast all four days live.
The LPGA Tour travels to Pattaya, Thailand, for the Honda LPGA Thailand. Esther Henseleit from the German-speaking area will compete this week. Sky Sports Golf will provide live coverage of this tournament.
