First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh aiming for a comeback, Charley Hull launching on YouTube soon. The Back Nine.
Expected: Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major champion will stay connected to the rival circuit but needs more family time. This amicable agreement was confirmed by LIV CEO Scott McNeil. However, Koepka, a competitor who thrives on high-level challenges, was not fully motivated in LIV. He switched to LIV in 2022 largely due to injury concerns and to secure financial stability post-career. Questions remain about whether he had to buy out his contract or repay some guarantees. He remains the owner of LIV team Smash GC, with Talor Gooch as the new captain.
Speculation abounds about where Koepka will compete next—on the DP World Tour, possibly with a penalty, or on the PGA Tour, where a one-year suspension after his last LIV event looms, following previous life bans softened by former commissioner Jay Monahan. According to ESPN journalist Mark Schlabach, Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership, which had not been renewed after 2022.
