German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback create excitement at the PGA Tour opener in Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
At the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The demanding South Course with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens is a true test, while the somewhat shorter North Course appears more scorable but also offers no gift. This blend each year ensures a high-quality field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are all teeing off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is Brooks Koepka’s comeback on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a flight expected to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to the already top-tier field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 17:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 (German time).
