The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the somewhat shorter North Course may seem more scorable but also offers no giveaways. This combination annually ensures a strong field and early sporting excitement.
The tournament start is particularly interesting from a German perspective: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will be competing. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces tough international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major topic is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group that is sure to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already impressive field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 6 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 5 PM CET.
