German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback create excitement at the PGA Tour opener in Torrey Pines. Find out the tee times here.
When the first tee times at the Farmers Insurance Open are announced, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the somewhat shorter North Course looks scorable but also offers no easy rides. This combination annually brings a high-class field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the opportunity for an offensive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces tough international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major topic is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off on the South Course together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa – a group that will attract tournament and fan attention early on. Koepka’s comeback adds star power to an already strong field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 6:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 pm (German time).
