German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback add excitement to the start of the PGA Tour at Torrey Pines. Find out the tee times here.
As the opening tee times for the Farmers Insurance Open are announced, all eyes turn again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course seems scorable but gives no gifts. This combination each year guarantees a high-quality field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. For Jäger and Rosenmüller, the North Course offers a chance for an aggressive start, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major topic is Brooks Koepka’s comeback on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group expected to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already stellar field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 6 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 5 pm (all times in German time zone).
The tee times are given in German time.
