Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Back on PGA Tour Immediately

First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh still eager, Charley Hull soon on YouTube. The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has withdrawn from the LIV Golf League for the 2026 season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major winner will remain connected to the competing circuit but needs more time for his family, according to official LIV CEO Scott McNeil. Koepka, known for his competitive spirit at the highest level, has had limited motivation at LIV events. He originally joined LIV in 2022 mainly due to injury concerns and to secure a substantial retirement fund. His decision to skip the final contracted season raises questions about possible buyouts or partial repayments and whether he still owns his LIV team Smash GC, now captained by Talor Gooch.

Speculation is rife over where Koepka will play next: DP World Tour where immediate eligibility likely applies, possibly with penalties, or PGA Tour where a one-year suspension since his last LIV appearance would apply, though lifetime bans have been softened. Recently, ESPN journalist Mark Schlabach reported Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership and rejoin the player pool.
