German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback create excitement at the start of the PGA Tour in Torrey Pines. Find out the tee times here.
When the first tee times for the Farmers Insurance Open are announced, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course with its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens is a true test, while the somewhat shorter North Course appears more scoreable but still offers no gifts. This combination ensures a top-class field and early sporting excitement each year.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will be teeing off. For Jäger and Rosenmüller, the North Course offers a chance for an aggressive start, while Schmid faces strong international competition right from the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major topic is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already high-quality field, making the Farmers Insurance Open all the more exciting. The tournament is broadcast live on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 5:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 pm (German time).
