As the first tee times are called at the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course appears more scorable but offers no gifts either. This combination annually attracts a top-class field and generates early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are in the field. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition right away on the South Course.

The multiple major winner tees off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group that is sure to draw early tournament and fan focus. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 5:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 pm (German time).
