The demanding South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways and notorious greens, presents a true challenge, while the somewhat shorter North Course appears scorable but offers no giveaways. This mix annually attracts a high-caliber field and early competitive excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially intriguing: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have a chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major storyline is the return of Brooks Koepka to the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off on the South Course alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa – a group likely to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s comeback adds star power to an already elite field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting.
