The PGA Tour’s biggest party takes place traditionally on Super Bowl weekend in Phoenix, while LIV Golf kicks off its new season in Riyadh. Golf fans can watch all the live action on TV.
This week also marks the start of the LIV Golf season with the opening event in Riyadh, featuring several changes both in personnel and format, including an extension to 72 holes, consisting of four rounds over four days. Sky broadcasts all four days live, with coverage also available on DAZN.
In addition to LIV Golf, Sky is airing the rarely televised Africa Amateur Championship organized by the R&A. Held from February 4th to 7th, 2026 at Royal Johannesburg in South Africa, the competition is played on the renowned East Course. The winner secures a spot in the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale as well as the 2026 Amateur Championship.
Magenta TV and the DP World Tour continue with the Qatar Masters in the Middle East, but the biggest event of the week is in Phoenix. Traditionally held on Super Bowl weekend, the PGA Tour’s WM Phoenix Open takes place at TPC Scottsdale, with the 16th hole as a highlight of the tournament.
