From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are competing. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.

Another major topic is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group that is likely to draw early tournament and fan attention.
