Phoenix hosts the PGA Tour’s biggest party on Super Bowl weekend, while LIV Golf kicks off its new season in Riyadh. Live golf on TV is on.
This week marks the start of LIV Golf’s new season from Riyadh, featuring several changes both in personnel and organization, most notably the extension to 72 holes over four rounds and four tournament days. Sky Sports will broadcast all four days live, and LIV Golf will also be available on DAZN.
Besides LIV Golf, Sky Sports presents another rarely televised event: the R&A’s Africa Amateur Championship held from February 4 to 7, 2026, at Royal Johannesburg in South Africa. Players compete on the well-known East Course, with the winner earning a spot at the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale and the 2026 Amateur Championship.
Magenta TV and the DP World Tour continue with the Qatar Masters in the Middle East, but the biggest party happens this week in Phoenix. Traditionally on Super Bowl weekend, the PGA Tour’s WM Phoenix Open takes place at TPC Scottsdale, featuring the iconic 16th hole as the highlight.
