Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Now Eligible on PGA Tour

First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh wants to give it another try, Charley Hull soon on YouTube. The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major champion remains connected to the rival circuit but needs more time for family, according to LIV CEO Scott McNeil’s official statement. Koepka is a competitor who thrives on top-level competition, which he found limited at LIV. He joined LIV in 2022 mainly due to injury concerns and the desire for a substantial retirement fund. His opting out of the final contracted season raised questions about buyouts and his ownership in the LIV team Smash GC, now captained by Talor Gooch.

Speculation is rife about which tours Koepka will play on next: the DP World Tour, where he’d be immediately eligible perhaps after a penalty, or the PGA Tour, where he faces a one-year suspension after his last LIV appearance, softened from a lifetime ban. Recent reports by ESPN’s Mark Schlabach indicate Koepka has formally applied to reinstate his PGA Tour membership and rejoin the players’ ranks.
